Dina Matos McGreevey said Friday that the published claims that she engaged in sexual trysts with her husband and his former driver are "completely false"
Matos McGreevey blames former New Jersey Governor James McGreevey for the published stories that the driver and campaign aide had consensual sex with the McGreeveys many times.
Matos McGreevey said in an e-mail message to The Associated Press Friday that the stories were prompted by the gay former governor whom she is divorcing.
Matos McGreevey's comments come after 29-year-old Theodore "Teddy" Pedersen told The Star-Ledger and New York Post that he had threesomes with the McGreeveys for about two years while they were dating, continuing into their marriage. Pedersen says the trysts ended right before McGreevey was elected governor in 2001.
No comment yet from McGreevey; his lawyer declined to comment.
