Powerball Jackpot Won by Eight Women in West Virginia

The $276 million Powerball drawing on Saturday revealed only one wining ticket but as it turned out eight women from Morgantown, West Virginia are set to share in the rewards as they all chipped in for the ticket.

All eight women work at the Monongalia County Sheriff’s Department Tax Office and each showed up for work on Monday.

The ticket still had to be validated by the West Virginia Lottery but assuming everything is on the up and up the eight women will take a lump some that will work out to about $12 million apiece.
