Sigma Pharmaceutical Limited (ASX:SIP) to Hold Q4 2007 Earnings Conference Call March 24
Sigma Pharmaceutical Limited (ASX:SIP) will hold a conference call on Monday, March 24 at 8:00 pm to discuss t he fourth quarter earnings for 2007.
An integrated pharmaceutical company, Sigma Pharmaceuticals is engaged in the manufacture, marketing and wholesale distribution of pharmaceutical products. Products are distributed through pharmacy and grocery channels and the provision of services to retail pharmacists.
The company is organized into two segments, Pharmaceuticals and Healthcare. The Pharmaceuticals segment is focused on contract manufacture for overseas pharmaceutical companies as well as the manufacture, sale and marketing of Sigma, Arrow, Herron products. Healthcare’s primary operation involves the wholesale and distribution of prescription and over the counter products, management of banner groups and the development and provision of private-label products.
The company launched the Arrow Group pipeline, which included 13 products, such as Paroxetine, Loratidine, Fexofenadine, Fosinopril and Zolpidem, during the year ended January 31, 2006.
Sigma acquired Orphan Holdings Pty Ltd in February 2008.
