Regine Dubono in her book Bitchie Mama provides insight into some of the fallacies in women’s thoughts that can destroy marriages. In these stories, the heroines expectations are always very far from what their partner would even guess. There is a total failure of communication and love progressively dissolves in the ten stories relating to men-woman relations in that newly self-published book. For instance The Seventh Year, and Hope and Spinster describe the despair that can fill a woman’s heart and puzzle a man to no end when communication fails and needs are not met. The stories however do offer some solutions.
