Juliana Maureen Redding, an aspiring model, was found dead Sunday in her Santa Monica home.
Redding, a 21-year-old woman from Arizona, was found dead at about 6:10 p.m. by officers from the Santa Monica Police Department.
Police arrived on the scene after Redding's mother called from Tucson, Ariz., and told them she had been unable to reach her daughter by phone.
Upon arrival, officers found Redding dead inside her apartment. Police did not know how long she had been dead, but it appeared she had been killed from an "assault", hence deeming it a murder. The results from the autopsy are pending.
Redding moved to Los Angeles to pursue her modeling and acting career. The news of her murder made the "America's Most Wanted" website.
Redding acted in the independent movie "Kathy T Gives Good Hoover", where she met her ex-boyfriend Greg Cipes.
