John Mason, the former fiancee' of runaway bride Jennifer Wilbanks, got married to Shelley Martin on Saturday.
John Mason, 35, married Shelley Martin, 34, in a quiet ceremony at his parents' home in Duluth, GA.
In 2005, Wilbanks disappeared just days before her wedding to Mason. She turned up a few days later in New Mexico, initially claiming that she had been kidnapped and sexually assaulted.
Wilbanks later recanted, saying she ran away because of personal issues, and pleaded no contest to lying to authorities.
Wilbanks was sentenced to two years' probation and performed numerous hours of community service.
