Bones in Suitcase Believed to be Amy Giordano

DNA testing is being done to determine whether human bones found in a suitcase on Staten Island are those of Amy Giordano, a New Jersey woman who has been missing since June.

Giordano, 27, disappeared and her 11-month-old son was found abandoned in a hospital parking lot in Delaware.

Last week, police charged Rosario DiGirolamo with murder. He was having an extramarital affair with Giordano. John Russo was also charged in connection with the case. He aided police in locating the bones and faces charges of tampering with evidence.

Giordano’s son is now in foster care.
