Chase Tatum, Former WCW Wrestler, Found Dead in his House

Former World Championship Wrestling grappler Chase Tatum was found dead inside his Atlanta house on Sunday in what appears to be an accidental drug overdose.

Tatum had spent about two years wrestling but retired after severe back problems forced him out of the ring. The 34-year-old had been taking painkillers after back surgery to repair a degenerative disc but according to his father he had built a dependence on the pills.

After a brief wrestling career Tatum turned to acting where he appeared in a few films including “Who’s Your Caddy?”

A toxicology report has been ordered and will be returned in about six to eight weeks.
