AGL Resources Inc (NYSE:ATG) to Hold 2008 Analyst Meeting April 2

AGL Resources Inc (NYSE:ATG) will hold their 2008 analyst meeting on Wednesday, April 2 at 8:30 am.

An energy services holding company, AGL’s principal business is in the distribution of natural gas in Florida, Georgia, Maryland, New Jersey, Tennessee and Virginia.  The company is involved in various businesses related to natural gas, such as retail natural gas marketing to end use customers, natural gas asset management and related logistics activities for its utilities and non-affiliated companies, natural gas storage arbitrage and the development and operation of high-deliverability underground natural gas storage assets.

AGL also owns and operates a telecommunications business involved in the construction and operation of conduit and fiber infrastructure in certain metropolitan areas.

The company is organized into four business segments, distribution operations, retail energy operations, wholesale services and energy investments, and a non-operating corporate segment.

AGL acquired Compass Energy Services Inc in October 2007.
