Delta Air Lines has launched a new safety video that has caused a stir due to the featured bombshell attendant, Katherine Lee.
Over the next month, over 80 million passengers will see Lee, also known as "Deltalina", in the new Delta safety video.
Lee, an actual Delta flight attendant, received the name "Deltalina", because people say she is the "Angelina Jolie of Delta Airlines".
Lee applied to become a Delta flight attendant in 1997 and has worked for the airline ever since. She was placed in a pool of 1,000 candidates to be featured in the safety video and was narrowed to the final 82.
The clip was filmed in January at Delta's Atlanta headquarters by a Hollywood production company hired for the job. The casting director ultimately picked Lee.
Since the video has been posted on YouTube, "Deltalina" has become an Internet phenomenon.
