A retailer of fine jewelry products, Finlay Enterprises operates through its wholly owned subsidiary, Finlay Fine Jewelry Corporation in the United States.  The company operates licensed fine jewelry departments in major department stores for retailers, such as Federated Department Stores Inc, Belk, Inc., The Bon-Ton Stores, Inc. and Dillards, Inc.

Finlay sells a variety of moderately priced fine jewelry, such as necklaces, earrings, bracelets, rings and watches, most of which are marketed as fashion accessories.

The company acquired L Congress, Inc., a privately owned regional chain of five jewelry stores in southwest Florida, in November 2006.
