Police Searching for Sniper Targeting Travelers along Interstate 64 in Virginia

Virginia police continue to search for a sniper they believe was targeting travelers along an 11-mile stretch of Interstate 64 late Wednesday night.

At least four cars were struck by bullets and two people were injured and taken to hospitals.

Shortly after midnight police closed off a 20-mile section of Interstate 64 between Charlottesville and Waynesboro to gather evidence. That section of the highway was re-opened on Thursday morning.

Reports have said that several schools in the area have delayed the start of their day while police continue to search for the suspect.
