University of Louisville Announces Situation Involving Armed Individual Diffused

The University of Louisville has released an update concerning a situation earlier this morning in which an armed individual entered a student health services building.

According to the school’s Web site “The situation at Student Health on Belknap Campus is under control. The student is no longer armed. No injuries reported.”

The situation involving the armed individual began around 9:00 a.m. but the was quickly diffused and police are currently at the building.
