NY Teacher Heather Kennedy Arrested for Sex with Student

Police say Kennedy and the boy had sex on March 20. She was arrested Wednesday evening. Kennedy was a math teacher at Wantagh High School. The boy was a student at the school, but it is unclear if he was in her class.

Kennedy has been “immediately administratively reassigned out of the classroom to her home pending the outcome of the investigation,” according to the superintendant of the Wantagh school district. Her arraignment is set for Thursday.
