U.S. Government Official Killed When Rocket Strikes Green Zone in Baghdad

A U.S. government official was killed on Thursday when militants fired a series of rockets into the Green Zone in Baghdad.

The Green Zone refers to the center of the international presence in Iraq. The U.S. and British embassies are situated inside the Green Zone.

The U.S. embassy has not released eth name of the killed official.
