Barack Obama to Pick Up Key Endorsement from PA Sen. Bob Casey

Barack Obama continues to pick up key endorsements despite growing concern over his ties with controversial pastor Jeremiah Wright. His latest endorsement is expected to come from Pennsylvania Sen. Bob Casey, nearly three-weeks ahead of the state’s important primary.

Obama will be in Pennsylvania over the next six days trying to gain support for the April 22 primary and the endorsement from Casey is expected to help the Illinois senator pick up Catholic voters, a key demographic in the Keystone State.

Casey hasn’t formally endorsed Obama but will be joining him in Pittsburgh on Friday where an announcement could be made.
