Radiohead to Perform Live at the Barcelona Forum on June 12

Radiohead will be performing live at the Barcelona Forum in Barcelona, Spain on Thursday, June 12 at 5:00 pm.

 

Born in Oxfordshire, England, the alternative rock band, Radiohead is comprised of Thom Yorke, Jonny Greenwood, Ed O’Brien, Colin Greenwood and Phil Selway.  Throughout their career, the band has released seven albums and sold over 23 million records.

 

Although their first single, “Creep” was initially unsuccessful, it later became a hit when it was reissued a year later.  The band’s popularity only increased with the release of their second album, The Bends, in 1995 and enjoyed even more fame with the release of OK Computer in 1997, Kid A in 2000 and Amnesiac in 2001 where they reached their peak.

 

After a change in musical style, the band began to include experimental electronic music, krautock and jazz to their songs.  Following the release of Hail to the Thief in 2003, the band left their record label, EMI and released In Rainbows, 2007 through their website as a digital download.  Customers were a  Customers were able to set their own price and download music through their website. 

 

Radiohead will be performing at Arenes in Nimes, France on Saturday, June 14 following the Barcelona concert.
