Dave Matthews Band to Perform Live in Pittsburgh May 30

The Dave Matthews band will be performing live at the Post Gazette Pavilion at Star Lake in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on Friday, May 30 at 7:00 pm.

 

Also known as DMB, The Dave Matthews Band is a US based rock band formed in Charlottesville, VA in 1991 by singer, songwriter and guitarist, Dave Matthews.  The band is comprised of Matthews, LeRoi Moore, saxophone, Stefan Lessard, bass,  Boyd Tinsley, electric violin and Carter Beaufurd, drums.  Butch Taylor was a constant fixture in the band as a keyboardist, although he was never officially part of the band.

 

The band joined together in 1998 and has sold over 31 million units within the United States, according to the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) who ranks them as one of the Top 100 Highest Selling Music Acts of all time.

DMB will be performing at the Post-Gazette Pavillion for two nights, May 30-31 before moving on to Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden, New Jersey.  The band will perform live in concert there on June 3 and June 4.
