U.S. News and World Report released their 2009 law school rankings Friday. Yale University took the top spot as the nation's premier law school.
Yale is followed by Harvard University, Stanford University, Columbia University and New York University to round out the top five.
University of California-Berkeley, University of Chicago, University of Pennsylvania, Northwestern University, University of Michigan, and the University of Virginia round out the top 10.
Yale received a perfect score of 100, while Harvard and Stanford scored a 91.
Of the top 10 schools, Yale is the most expensive, costing $43,870 a year in out-of-state tuition. UVA is the least expensive with a $38,500 price tag. Yale is also the second-smallest school with an enrollment of 586, following Stanford with just 538.
