Strong Earthquake Hits Canada

A 5.5 magnitude earthquake struck eastern Canada Wednesday afternoon at 1:41. The United Stated Geological Survey reported the epicenter was located about 38 miles north of Ottawa, Canada.

The quake was felt in Ontario, Ottawa and Toronto. Tremors were also felt in parts of Massachusetts, Michigan, New York and Ohio.

There have been reports of minor damages, but no reports of injuries or deaths.
