Hearts and Souls by Regine Dubono received award from Writers Digest

A book by a woman for women

In 2007, Writer’s Digest reviewed the book of short stories entitled:   “Hearts and Souls” by Regine Dubono issued award certificate and the following review:

“These stories are all penetrating glimpses into the emotional life of modern urban woman.  Its philosophical outlook is enlightened and troubled at the same time.  It details the ups and downs of relationships, marriages and life itself. The story “spinster” is moving and sad.  The emotional wreckage of wasted lives is limned here for readers to experience and learn.  The book is not all despair.  There is also hope and an outlook for new opportunities for growth.”

We are writing to suggest that you may want to look at some of the stories of this book to enjoy and perhaps to feature in your publication.  Dubono is a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University (NJ), a former chemist, real estate broker turned author.
