Robert Plant and Alison Krauss Tour to Hit Dusseldorf, Germany at Philipshalle on May 10

The Robert Plant and Alison Kraus tour will be carrying their show to the Europe following several dates in the United States in April; among their stops will be Dusseldorf, Germany where they will be performing at the Philispshalle on May 10.

 

Plant and Kraus will be getting their tour off the ground on April 20 in Louisville, KY and then hit Knoxville and Chattanooga in Tennessee before heading to New Orleans for the Jazz & Heritage Festival on April 25.

 

They will then move on to Birmingham, AL for a show and then their off to the UK with at The NIA in Birmingham, Eng. on May 5.

 

After a series of shows in Europe the two will have another run of shows in the States, beginning with a stop in Roanoke, Virginia June 2.

 

Plant and Krauss announced they would be touring to support their Raising Sand album that was released on October 23, 2007. The album debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200 chart and was ranked #24 by Rolling Stone in their Top 50 Albums of 2007.

 

While Plant and Krauss are expected to play several of the songs off Raising Sand they will also perform many of their own singles from their catalog.

 

There has been a lot of speculation surrounding a potential Led Zeppelin reunion tour following the incredibly successful show they put on in December at the O2 Arena in London but the likelihood of that happening remains slim.
