Teen Summer Camps Filling up Fast this Summer
Teen summer camps are adding enrollments at a record pace as July approaches, according to the president of one of the leading teen academic camps in the country.
Bobbi DePorter, co-founder and president of SuperCamp, which provides learning and life skills pre-teen and teen enrichment camps at colleges across the U.S., says that enrollments in the last three months are over 25 percent ahead of 2009 numbers.
"We're seeing a huge wave of enrollments as summer approaches," says DePorter. "Parents are telling us that they feel the need to help their kids academically and in the areas of building confidence and motivation beyond what the schools can do."
SuperCamp's middle school and high school summer camps help students improve their performance by providing them with innovative learning skills and powerful communication, leadership, and motivational skills.
The program has helped over 55,000 students in its 29-year history, including kids from over 80 countries worldwide.
