The Medical and Related Product segment, with its subsidiaries and associated company, manufactures and sells medical products and related products in Japan, the United States, Brazil, Vietnam, Indonesia and Taiwan.  It is also involved in the development of pharmaceutical applications in Europe.

The Others segment is involved in the rearing of experimental animals, the sale of experimental equipment and materials, the purchase, manufacture and sale of packing materials, and the non-life insurance and advertising agency businesses.
