Pizza Hut Changes Name to Pasta Hut, Adds Menu Items

Pizza Hut announced Monday that the pizza chain is officially changing its name to Pasta Hut, marking the arrival of its new Tuscani Pastas, which will be available Tuesday.

Pizza Hut, the world's largest pasta restaurant (which also serves pizza) has 6,200 restaurants across the United States. After 50 years of being named Pizza Hut, the chain will rebrand itself to become Pasta Hut, effective Tuesday.

Pizza Hut is making the branding change quickly as the corporate headquarters now adorns a "Pasta Hut" sign. The Pizza Hut website is now located at newpastahut.com. Pizza Hut restaurants across the country have begun installing banners that read "Coming Soon...Pasta Hut."

Tuscani Pastas will come in two different styles: Creamy Chicken Alfredo and Meaty Marinara. Both feature Rotini pasta and a delicious blend of sauce and cheese that is added to the pasta before it is oven baked. Each three-pound serving of Tuscani Pastas costs $11.99 and includes five freshly baked breadsticks.
