Sprint Unveils Samsung Instinct as New Revolutionary Cellphone

Sprint announced the unveiling of their brand-new Samsung Instinct Tuesday during the Cellular Telecommunication Industry Association (CTIA) Wireless Conference 2008.

The Samsung Instinct is expected to be Sprint's answer to AT&T's iPhone 3g. The Instinct will have a fully-operating touch screen and will offer a Voice to Action button providing such functions using voice activation including call, text, picture messaging, traffic, movie, sports, news and search.

Sprint's Instinct will also have the ability to quickly browse the Web, access business or personal email, share pictures, listen to commercial-free radio and more at broadband speeds.

Samsung Instinct also provides access to Sprint services and multimedia content, including Sprint Navigation, Sprint TV, Sprint Music Store and Pocket Express. Visual Voicemail will allow users to listen to their messages in order of preference.

The Samsung Instinct will be available in June 2008.

Sprint also announced the details of their WiMax tablet with Nokia on Tuesday. WiMax is a wireless connection that provides high-speed Internet access even inside fast-moving cars and trains.

In further announcements, Sprint has upgraded their BlackBerry catalogue by adding the BlackBerry Curve 8330, the world's smallest BlackBerry smartphone.
