Cheryl Tunney, an 18-year old British girl, confessed in a documentary that she has had sex with 50 men that she has met off of the Internet over the last two years. The documentary aired Tuesday night.
Tunney, an avid member of British social networking website Bebo.com, said in the BBC3 documentary that she did not use condoms nor contrasceptives with many of the strangers she met online. She said she could name the first 36, but forgot the rest.
"When you sleep with so many, you kind of lose count," said Tunney. "The first time I went to meet one of them we were both 14, but my mum went along with me. I didn't lose my virginity until I was 16 but I have now had about 50 partners."
The show brings children and their parents together to have frank discussions about their lives in order to bridge the communication gap between the two.
During the televised discussion with her 45-year old mother, Tunney drew a series of stick men to represent her dozens of partners and appeared shocked when her mother Debbie revealed she had only had three sexual partners in her life.
"We had to write our numbers on a board for the show and the initial for each partner's name. I couldn't believe my mum had only had sex with three men," said Cheryl.
Since the show aired, Tunney said she does not go to Internet cafes anymore nor does she sleep around.
