A sporting goods retailer in Canada, The Forzani Group operates 270 corporate stores under the names, Sport Chek, Sport Mart, Coast Mountain Sports, National Sports and Fitness Source.  The company also wholesales to 209 Franchisees/licensees that operate stores nder the names, Sports Experts, Intersport, RnR, Econosports, Atmosphere, Tech Shop, Pegasus, Hokey Experts and Nevada Bobs Golf.

The company has three sales departments: footwear, hardgoods and softgoods.

The company opened 2 Sports Experts, 5 Intersport, 3 Atmosphere, 7 Nevada Bob’s Golf and 3 Buying Member, 1 Pegasus and 4 Hockey Experts during the year ended January 28, 2007.

Forzani acquired select net assets of JKL Golf Crop Inc and JKL Golf Inc. on November 7, 2006.  It also acquired The Fitness Source Inc. on January 31, 2006 and Athletes World Limited in November 2007.
