ATA Airlines cancelled all their flights without warning Wednesday after filing for bankruptcy. The airline has apologized to their customers for the “sudden shutdown.”
“Unfortunately, we were not in a position to provide out customers or others with advance notice,” ATA said in a statement.
The airline, which is based out of Indianapolis, Indiana, filed for bankruptcy on Wednesday after “the loss of a key contract for our military charter business.” ATA employed over 2,000 people and operated 29 planes.
