Former U.S. VP Dick Cheney Admitted to Washington Hospital

Former U.S. Vice-President Dick Cheney has been admitted to George Washington University Hospital and is expected to remain there over the weekend after complaining of discomfort on Friday.

Cheney, 69, has had a history of heart troubles, suffering five heart attacks over the past 32 years but it is not known if his recent illness was tied to those troubles. His last heart attack was in February of this year.

Cheney spent eight years as vice president under President George W. Bush.
