Migros Turk Ticaret A.S. (IST:MIGRS) to Release Q4 2007 Earnings April 11

Migros Turk Ticaret A.S. (IST:MIGRS) will release the fourth quarter earnings for 2007 on Friday, April 11.

A Turkish food retailer, Migros Turk was originally founded as a joint initiative of the Swiss Migros Cooperatives Union and Istanbul Municipality in 1954.  It later became fully owned by a Turkish company, Koc Holding A.S. in 1975.

Migros Turk is also engaged in the sale of durable consumer products, glassware, confectionary products, cassettes and books.

The company had a total of 786 shopping centers, hypermarkets, Migros, Sok, Macrocenter and Tansas stores in seven geographical regions of Turkey, as well as 92 Ramstores in Azerbaijan, Russia, Kazakhstan, Bulgaria, Kyrgzstan and Macedonia, during the year ended December 31, 2006.

The company also offers online, telephone, kiosk and catalogue shopping and delivery services for cell phones, furniture, refrigerators, ovens, dishwashers, washing machines, flowers and other related products.
