Vestel Elektronik Sanayi ve Ticaret AS (IST:VESTL) will release the fourth quarter earnings for 2007 on Friday, April 11.
Based in Turkey, Vestel Elektronick Sanayi ve Ticaret (Vestel) is a Vestel Group company. The Vestel Group is a subsidiary of Zorlu Group, which is engaged in the electronic, white goods and information technology fields. The group is comprised of 18 companies which include seven domestic and 11 foreign companies. In addition, the group has research and development initiatives in five locations, with three abroad in England, the United States and Hong Kong and two in domestic at Manisa and Izmir.
Vestel provides products, such as televisions and personal computers of the Vestel brand, in addition to JVC, Hitachi, Toshiba and Zanussi brands. Products are exported to 103 countries worldwide.
The company has subsidiaries in Germany, France, England, Spain, Italy and the Netherlands. Vestel Foreign Trading and Vestel marketing handles the foreign and domestic selling of Vestel Elektronik.
