The clash between Tibetan protestors and China’s government erupted into violence once again on Thursday and one government official sustained serious injuries according to state media outlet Xinhua news agency.
Thursday’s violence broke out near government offices in Garze, Sichuan province in western China and Xinhua reported an official had been “attacked and seriously wounded.”
Police fired warning shots to disperse the protestors. Garze has been the scene of other violent clashes between the Tibetan protestors and officials.
