AFK Sistema OAO (LON:SSA) to Release Q4 2007 Earnings April 14

AFK Sistema OAO (LON:SSA) will release the fourth quarter earnings for 2007 on Monday, April 14.

A consumer services company, AFK Sistema is involved in several business sectors, such as telecommunications, technology, real estate, banking, retail, media and other related sectors, including travel services, international operations, radio and space technology, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology.

The company is involved in the development and management of businesses in service based industries through several subsidiaries.  MTS and Comstar United Telesystems operate within the telecommunications sector.  SITRONICS operates within the technology fild.  Sistema Mass Media is a media company.  The Moscow Bank for Reconstruction and Development is involved in retail banking.  Sistema-Hals is focused on real estate and construction and Detsky Mir Group is active in retail.

The company acquired American Hospital Group in May 2007 and integrated its Healthcare Services division’s assents into the Medsi Companies Group Holding, its wholly owned subsidiary, in February 2008.
