Woman Suing Victoria’s Secret Claiming Bra Seriously Cut One of Her Breasts
Jessica Lang, a Greenville, South Carolina woman who claims she was seriously cut by her bra, has filed a lawsuit against Victoria’s Secret alleging that the retailer sold the defective item that caused a three inch long and ½ inch deep cut in one of her breasts.
Lang had originally filed the lawsuit in 2005 claiming the cut was much more severe claiming the cut was six inches long and six inches dep. The lawsuit filed on Thursday corrected that claim.
According to the lawsuit Lang was forced to miss work after the injury and she was eventually fired due to excessive absences. Now Lang is blaming Victoria’s Secret noting the popular retailer “so negligently and carelessly designed, manufactured, constructed, assembled, inspected, and sold the brassiere that it was dangerous and unsafe for its intended uses.”
Victoria’s Secret has claimed no wrong doing and blame Lang’s injury on her own negligence.
