Texas Man Kill’s Wife’s Doctor Outside Medical Office

A Texas man waited outside a medical office on Friday and then shot and killed his wife’s doctor, Dr. Julie Abbott, before police could shoot him.

When police arrived at the San Antonio medical office they noticed the man standing over the doctor with a gun drawn. An officer fired several warning shot before actually striking the man as he began to approach the officer with gun in hand.

The gunman was taken to University Hospital where he was listed critical condition while Abbott was pronounced dead at the same hospital.

It is unclear what the motive for the shooting.
