Regions Financial Corporation (NYSE:RF) to Hold Q4 2008 Earnings Conference Call April 15

Regions Financial Corporation (NYSE:RF) will hold a conference call on Monday, April 15 at 10:00 am.  The call will be available via webcast at http://www.regions.com/about_regions/IR_investorrelations.html.  

A financial holding company, Regions Financial operates in the South, Midwest and Texas, providing traditional commercial, retail and mortgage banking services, in addition to other financial services in the field of investment banking, asset management, trust, mutual funds, securities brokerage, insurance and other specialty financing.

The company’s business segments include General Banking/Treasury, Investment Banking, Brokerage and Trust, and Insurance.  Banking operations are conducted through Regions Bank, a state chartered commercial bank.

The company operated 2,000 banking offices in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia by December 31, 2007. 

A subsidiary of the company, Regions Insurance Group, Inc., acquired certain assets of Barksdale Bonding and Insurance, Inc. on January 1, 2008.
