Last Minute Summer Camp Ideas To Help Parents

Parents looking for last-minute summer camp ideas for their kids have several options from which to choose with SuperCamp, one of the leading pre-teen and teen summer camps in the U.S.

SuperCamp runs pre-teen and
teen academic camps at nine colleges across the country, including Stanford, UCLA, Brown, and Wake Forest. These pre-teen and teen summer enrichment programs provide students with new learning and life skills that help them in all subject areas in school and in their personal lives.

Many sessions are full for the summer; however, SuperCamp president, Bobbi DePorter, says that space remains in a number of camps. "Fortunately, we offer over 20 sessions every summer," says DePorter. "So, we will work with parents to find a camp location and dates that work for their family."

SuperCamp's pre-teen and
teen summer programs launched in 1982. Since then, over 55,000 students have attended. Independent studies with over 6,000 SuperCamp graduates have reported increases in grades, confidence and motivation among a large majority of these students.

SuperCamp's Quantum Learning methods of training students are also used by thousands of schools throughout the country, both to train teachers and school administrators and to help students.

Students attending SuperCamp also learn the 8 Keys of Excellence, character principles to live by. These character skills are modeled by the SuperCamp staff throughout the seven-, eight- and 10-day programs.
