Kanye West will open up his "Glow in the Dark Tour" on April 16 in KeyArena at Seattle Center in Seattle, Washington.
Kanye West will headline the tour, along with fellow acts Lupe Fiasco, Rihanna and N.E.R.D. Kanye, Lupe and Pharrell from N.E.R.D. are forming a supergroup called "Child Rebel Soldier", so the tour will be the launching pad for their upcoming album.
The tour will continue in the United States until May 18 in Toyota Pavilion At Montage Mountain in Scranton, Pennsylvania. West will then head to Canada for the Canadian leg of the tour, starting on May 20 with a show in Montreal, Quebec at the Bell Centre.
The Canadian leg ends on June 2 in Vancouver, British Columbia and returns to the U.S. with a show at Rose Garden Arena in Portland, Oregon on June 3. The tour ends on June 13 in Cincinnati, Ohio in U.S. Bank Arena.
Kanye will be promoting his 2007 album Graduation, which sold the most albums of any artist in 2007. The album is certified double platinum and currently has five singles on the radio.
Lupe Fiasco's second album Lupe Fiasco's The Cool, which has received critical acclaim, is close to being certified gold. He released his fourth single, "Paris, Tokyo", in March.
Rihanna's addition to this blockbuster tour caps off a phenomenal year for her and her album Good Girl Gone Bad, which gave her a Grammy and three top 10 hits on the Billboard 200. Her album sold over four million copies.
N.E.R.D.'s third and upcoming album Seeing Sounds is set to be released in June.
