CampusBooks Releases the First Textbook Price Comparison App for Android

Chicago, IL - June 29, 2010 - CampusBooks, the most popular textbook price comparison website, released its Android app today. With this launch, CampusBooks becomes the first textbook price comparison service with mobile apps for both iPhone and Android platforms.

The CampusBooks mobile application enables students to compare prices on the go. Using the camera on their iPhone or Android, students can scan the barcode of textbooks found at their school's bookstore. In seconds, the CampusBooks price comparison engine displays the cheapest prices for the book from a database of over three dozen of the largest textbook retail and rental services.
