Teen summer enrichment programs do a lot more than help with the three R's, not that that isn't important. At SuperCamp's teen summer camps, students in grades 9 to 12 learn valuable life skills that help them with their confidence, leadership and communication abilities, and preparation for college.
As a college prep camp, SuperCamp provides high school students with powerful learning skills to go along with the enriching life skills and character-development instruction that is a hallmark of its 10-day program.
SuperCamp also offers older teens with a college summer camp of their own, called Quantum U, which is targeted to students about to enter college and those already in college.
Quantum U is a college-level version of SuperCamp that provides them with an opportunity to gain a unique set of skills to help them throughout college. College life is different. It can be fragmented, intense and sometimes overwhelming: large classes, unstructured time, professors who all think their course is a student's one and only priority.
In the eight-days Quantum U program, held at Colorado College in Colorado Springs, participants learn how to manage their time, energy, and finances. They gain added focus and confidence and they elevate their communication, presentation, study, writing, and reading skills.
For those students who are already in college, Quantum U helps them sharpen their college-level learning skills and develop their leadership and communication skills in preparation for job interviews and a career after college.
Quantum U is, in effect, insurance on parents' investment in their student's college education and future career opportunities. More information on Quantum U and SuperCamp are available at the SuperCamp website and by calling 800-285-3276.
