Parents of Madeleine McCann Called Back to Portugal
The parents of missing four-year-old Madeleine McCann have been called back to Portugal in an effort to reconstruct the night in which their daughter disappeared from their Praia da Luz resort.
Kate and Gerry McCann would be joined by several other people who were in the area at the time of Madeleine’s disappearance on the night of May 3. The reconstruction is scheduled to take place in the middle of May but Portuguese officials have only requested participation and not ordered an appearance.
While Kate and Gerry McCann were made official suspects in the case the parents have insisted they had nothing to do with Madeleine’s disappearance. The couple were with friends at a restaurant when an alleged abductor broke into their first-floor apartment and grabbed Madeleine.
