American Airlines Cancels Hundreds of Flights for Inspections

American Airlines has once again cancelled hundreds of flights due to inspection concerns involving a fleet of MD-80 planes.

The cancellations will involve flights on Tuesday and will likely roll over into Wednesday.

American Airlines has grounded the planes to comply with Federal Aviation Administration requirements concerning wire bundles. The cancellations could affect up to 500 flights.
