Six Shot in Robbery of Malaysia Airport

Six people were shot by robbers who stole nearly $1 million in cash from Malaysia’s Kuala Lumpur International Airport. Police say 4 to 6 robbers shot two currency exchange workers, two security guards and two airport customers as they transported the bag of cash out of the building.

District police chief  Zahedi Ayub told a local news agency that the robbers were “dark-skinned and believed to be locals.”

 

“Based on preliminary investigations, it appears that the robbers know the movements of the victims and it is categorized as an organized crime,”
