Michelle Droelle, a high school teacher in Virginia, is linked to escort services via eight ads in the Yellow Pages, causing a controversial scandal in the area.
The numbers used to contact Penthouse V.I.P., Exotic Playmates, Exotic Sinsations, Fantasies, Sweet Pleasures, Party Girls, Oasis Escorts and Delilah’s are all registered in the name of Droelle. The ads appear in the 2007 edition of the Verizon Yellow Pages.
Droelle, 33, is a social studies teacher at Kellam High School in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Droelle insisted she left the escort business two years ago before she started teaching but neglected to take the phone lines out of her name.
Droelle owned Penthouse V.I.P. since August 2006, according to Virginia Beach records, and ran similar business under various names. She sold the companies to her business partner Robin Lupton, who registered Penthouse V.I.P. in her name in September 2007.
Droelle is expected to resign from her position soon.
