Illinois Mother Charged First-Degree Murder after Stabbing 6-Year-Old Daughter

Nelly Vasquez-Salazar has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder following the stabbing death of her 6-year-old daughter, Evelyn.

Vasquez-Salazar told Chicago police that Evelyn had been possessed by a demon and she had recently started sleepwalking.

The judge in the case set bail at $5 million.
