Dave Matthews Band to Perform Live at Post Gazette Pavilion at Star Lake, Pittsburgh, PA May 31

Dave Matthews band will be performing live at the Post Gazette Pavilion at Star Lake in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on Saturday, May 31 at 7:00 pm.  The band will be performing next at Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden, New Jersey on July 3.

Also known as DMB, the Dave Matthews Band was formed in 1991 in Charlottesville, Virginia.  The founder, Dave Matthews (singer, songwriter and guitarist), joined LeRoi Moore (saxophonist), Stefan Lessard (bassist), Boyd Tinsley (electric violinist) and drummer Carter Beauford (drummer) to create one of the top selling music artists of all time (as noted by the Recording Industry Association of America).  Although Butch Taylor played with the band frequently on stage as a keyboardist, he was never an official member of the band.  Rashawn Ross joined the band from 2006 to 2007 as a live trumpet player.  He is best known as the trumpet player for Soulive.
