29-Inch Woman Gives Birth to Baby Boy

According to The Times of India an 18-year-old woman standing just 29-inches gave birth to a baby boy last Saturday in the district hospital of Chhindwara in south Madhya Pradesh.

The small stature of Meena Dheemar was of serious concern for the four doctors who assisted in the delivery. They feared the effects of anesthesia on Sheemar as well as the health of both mother and baby.

Dheemar was forced to deliver the baby three weeks early but both were reportedly doing well. The baby boy weight four pounds at birth.
