Blow Energy Drink Mix is stirring a lot of controversy due to its uncanny packaging and name, which are very similar to cocaine.
Blow Energy Drink Mix, named for the street term for cocaine, is packaged in a while box with a scorpion sticker on top. Another sticker that says "I Love Blow" is also located on the white box.
Once opened, the drink mix, which is a white powder in a clear vile, is accompanied by a mirror and a credit card, which is used to chop up the powder into fine pieces before it is placed in a drink.
The credit card, which looks like an American Express Black Card, has the word "Blow" on it, as well as the words "Patron Cola" and "Pure Uncut Energy", which are both terms directly associated with cocaine.
The Blow Energy Drink Mix paraphrenalia and aesthetics are almost identical to that of cocaine, a drug which is obviously illegal.
Blow CEO Logan Gola Logan Gola said in an interview with CNN Thursday that a kid purchasing the energy drink mix may not necessarily buy real street drugs just because of the energy drink's similarity to cocaine.
Gola cited his company's freedom of speech in marketing "Blow" as "pure, uncut energy" and said the product contains a warning on the back, which advises that Blow is not recommended for people under the age of 18.
