Carrington Steele released a book titled Don’t Drink the Kool-Aid on March 3, which attempts to expose Oprah Winfrey and the proclaimed "Church of Oprah".
The book, subtitled Oprah, Obama and the Occult, lists Oprah's ties to the church of the New Age religion, which was founded by Eckhart Tolle.
Winfrey proctors an online class, along with Eckhart Tolle's "A New Earth" beliefs. The video of Winfrey's classes is available on video sites, such as Finditt.com.
Steele attempts to equate her endorsement of Sen. Barack Obama for president to furthering this "church". However, there have been no facts that specify that Obama has anything to do with or if he is knowledgable of Winfrey's beliefs.
